Lime Beef Chili Recipe

2-1/2lbs Chuck roast
{for marinate)
lime juice
garlic powder
chili power

1 chopped onion
2 cans chili ready tomatos (kueners)
1 can black beans
1 can chili beans in chili/cumin sauce
1 can tomato puree
2 tbsp sugar
3 cups beef broth
3 Jalapeno peppers
6 tbsp srachi ("rooster sauce")
chili powder (to taste)
garlic powder (to taste)
cumin (to taste)
coriander (to taste)
celery salt (to taste)
liquid smoke
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro


about 2-1/2 lb chuck roast diced small, remove as much fat as you can marinate in lime juice, garlic powder and chili powder for 1 hour brown meat (and mari-nade), 1 chopped onion, 2 cans chili ready tomatoes - get in the ethnic section of market (kueners is the brand I think), 1 can black beans and 1 can chili beans in chili/cumin sauce (same brand as tomatoes), 1 can tomato puree,2 Tbsp sugar,3 cups beef broth, 3 Jalapeno peppers diced (more or less for heat), 6 Tbsp srachi ("rooster") sauce (more or less for heat) chili pow-der, garlic powder, cumin and coriander to taste, celery salt liquid smoke (if you like it smoky), add 1 cup chopped FRESH cilantro just prior to eating (must be fresh, dried will not taste good)
